LET'S ALL MEET UP IN THE YEAR 2000!Looking back, I find it very difficult to believe that the Youth Club Reunion took place almost EIGHT months ago! It's certainly true what they say about getting older .... thatTime goes by much faster! And how! However, that night in the Chequers will live long in my memory. To see all those faces from the days of the Youth Club was brilliant. I recognised some of you straight away, others took a little longer but basically I am pleased to say that most of you haven't changed a bit! And those of you who have have only grown a bit wider or a bit narrower; gained hair or lost it; or perhaps just changed its colour! I'm sorry to say that I didn't get around to speaking to half as many as I wanted to. The night was over much too soon. I had intended to record the event for posterity on video but I'm afraid I didn't even manage to get the camcorder out of it's case! (Although I did notice that Lynette was stalking us with a video camera! - any chance of borrowing the tape, Lynette?) I did take a few photographs though and you will find a selection on the next page. After the April Reunion, quite a few people expressed a wish for another because they too had though that the evening had gone by all to quickly. A suggestion was made that we hold another Grand Reunion to celebrate the Millenium and this is what we intend to do. We will need to know how many people will want to attend well in advance so watch out for news and, possibly, a small questionnaire coming your way soon. It will be an occasion not to be missed I'm sure and I look forward to seeing you all there. So until then, Merry Christmas to you all! ![]()
